Job summary

Mimica Automation seeks a founding Quality Engineer to establish quality foundations for our AI-powered Chatbot product. You will define testing strategies, own quality from day one, and work closely with Software and ML teams to ensure reliable releases in an evolving environment.

This fully remote role welcomes candidates in the UK, Americas, or Europe within UTC-5 to UTC+1. You will drive testing approaches, build guardrails for AI risks, and help shape the Quality Chapter across the

Qualifications

Hands-on software quality engineering experience (SDET, test automation, or equivalent).
Experience testing chatbot, conversational AI, RAG, or LLM-powered systems with dynamic behaviour.
Proficiency in at least one programming language and code familiarity for reviews.

Responsibilities

Develop and evolve quality practices, test strategies, and release processes for the Chatbot product.
Establish and run an output-evaluation framework for Chatbot quality and regressions.
Test dynamic LLM-based systems and validate non-deterministic behaviour beyond traditional tests.
Identify and guard against AI-specific risks like prompt-injection and unsafe model behaviour.
Collaborate with engineers to improve quality during the development lifecycle.
