Salary: £55,000 (open to negotiation for the right candidate)

A leading manufacturing business based in Cornwall is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their expanding team. The Role

As Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a key part in driving quality standards, leading improvement initiatives, and supporting manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading quality investigations, root cause analysis, and implementing effective corrective actions
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor
  • Ensuring compliance with quality systems, standards, and customer requirements
  • Working collaboratively with production, engineering, and technical teams
  • Supporting supplier quality performance and quality assurance activities
About You
  • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools such as RCA, 8D, CAPA, SPC or similar
  • Confident working hands‑on and being actively present on the shop floor
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to influence and engage teams
  • Passionate about quality, problem‑solving, and improvement
