Vectis Recruitment is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join a regulated manufacturing environment serving Aerospace, Automotive, Defence and High Technology sectors. You will develop and maintain quality systems, conduct root cause analysis and work with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet customer requirements.

Due to continued growth, a manufacturer of complex engineered products to the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence and High Technology sectors has a new vacancy for a Senior Quality Engineer to join the team. The Role

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues
• Perform inspections and audits of products, materials, and processes.
• Work with customers on new product launches and improvements.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure the highest quality standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Support new product introductions by ensuring quality standards are integrated into the design and development phases
• Uphold processes that ensure health, safety and environmental best practices.

The Person

• Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (aerospace, automotive, defence, etc).
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Excellent understanding of quality assurance management principles and practice.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
