A leading global energy company is seeking a Quality Manager based in the UK to oversee the Integrated Management System and ensure compliance with ISO standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management within a high-volume production environment and experience with corrective action processes. Management of the Company Integrated Management System and audit programme lead in both internal / external ISO and product-specific audits.
You will play a key role in ensuring product / process issues are promptly investigated and adequate corrective / preventive actions are implemented, e.g. customer complaints, out of specification components, etc. You are also responsible for ensuring that the products produced meet the required quality standards, minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction while maintaining adherence to procedures and processes.
Work on multiple phases or sub‑tasks of projects or entire projects of high complexity, with results impacting on project completion. Work is reviewed at project milestones and/or upon completion by Management.
Work under minimal supervision with cross‑functional project teams to resolve complex quality problems that may have significant impact on the business, e.g. product failures, production downtime, cost saving initiatives, external certification.
The successful candidate will participate in both the design and manufacturing process to ensure that all products represent the maximum quality and reliability attainable.
