A defense and aerospace company in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector specializing in Welding Inspection. As a Quality Control Senior Inspector joining our experienced T26 program you will become a member of an extremely dynamic Quality team of circa 55 heads that cover every inspection across multiple disciplines, undertaking various inspections across multiple components as to deliver the most technically advanced platform to our customers. These customers are growing from originally UK MOD, Royal Navy and then on to international contracts. You will influence both strategic and technical conversations within your given discipline and represent the department in some cases. Tasks will vary between conducting inspections and supporting the wider team, predominantly leads as and when required. This position will require the candidate to be very alert to challenges faced within his discipline and have the ability to manage and influence solutions. As a senior you will be required to also conduct task management as to ensure efficiency is maximized across all aspects of the tasks undertaken. Within the team there are great development opportunities that would become available to the successful candidate, this will be both within and out with their given discipline.
