Job summary

The Open University in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated professional to join the Validation Partnerships team. The post holder will support new and existing partners to ensure alignment with university policy, UK law and regulator requirements, contributing to the development of arrangements for approval and reapproval of collaborations.

You will work with stakeholders, provide guidance on policies, manage expert reader processes, and help maintain audit trails.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing administrative processes.
• Experience in report writing and data analysis.
• Ability to interpret policy and convey information clearly.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.
• Educated to undergraduate degree level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and approval of new validation partnerships.
• Assist in updating SOPs, regulations and the OUVP Handbook.
• Coordinate expert reader support and partner compliance reviews.
• Provide guidance to partner institutions and maintain audit trails.
• Prepare reports and policy papers for university committees.
• Line management responsibilities as required.
• Liaise with OU colleagues to ensure policies are accessible and compliant.
• Travel as required for business purposes.
• Ensure conditions are met following approval processes.
