Job summary

CBSbutler is supporting a defence engineering organisation in recruiting an NPI Quality Engineer / Senior NPI Quality Engineer to join their team in Kidderminster. The role focuses on bringing new products into manufacture, aligning engineering, manufacturing and quality to ensure robust processes from prototype through to production.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in quality engineering, NPI experience, and strong knowledge of FMEA, 8D, APQP and PPAP, with ISO9001/EN9100 exposure

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing or product development environment.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and quality planning.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, APQP and PPAP.
• Experience working to quality standards such as ISO9001, EN9100 or similar.
• Defence or aerospace experience would be highly advantageous.
