Job summary

Alliance Medical is seeking a Qualified Person for a full-time role in the Manchester area. The role focuses on batch release of radiopharmaceuticals for PET diagnostics and management of the QMS.

Previous releasing QP experience within radiopharmaceuticals/steriles on a UK MHRA licence is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, QA, and regulatory compliance, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years practical experience in quantitative and qualitative analyses of active substances and QA testing.
• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology and a scientific degree.
• Experience as releasing QP on a UK MHRA licence in radiopharmaceuticals/steriles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the release of medicinal products for distribution, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Review and approve batch records, analytical data, and related docs.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues and deviations in manufacturing processes and materials.
• Participate in internal and external audits of facilities and quality systems.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and quality standards to internal teams.
