Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a £15m Rail Station Infrastructure project in London and Hertfordshire. The role involves managing commercial packages of subcontractors and change management. Candidates should have rail and infrastructure experience, preferably with NEC contracts. This position offers a contract duration of around a year, with potential for long-term employment.

Qualifications

Senior QS required for £15m Rail Station Infrastructure project between London / Hertfordshire

One of our clients has a requirement for a strong Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor for projects at a major rail station in Central London and one in Hertfordshire c.£15m in value.

The projects are AFA works including lifts, ramps, ticket halls etc.

Most of the procurement has been done so the main cut and thrust of the role will be commercial package management of subcontractors and change management to final account.

The client is looking for Rail / Infrastructure and NEC contract experience, particularly on stations - AFA is preferred but not essential.

The project has around a year to run so good contract duration with the potential for longer-term or temp-to-perm.
