Job summary

A leading recruitment company in the UK is looking for a Senior QS to assist on civils engineering projects in the Midlands. The ideal candidate has proven experience in civil engineering, knowledge of NEC cost reimbursable contracts, and a strong background in heavy civils projects. The role offers an ASAP start with a 6-month contract, working mostly on-site, except for 1 day working from home.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior QS with an emphasis on civils projects.
• Familiarity with NEC cost reimbursable contracts is preferable.
• Background in heavy civils projects is essential.

Job description

One of our clients are looking for a Senior QS to assist them working on various civils engineering projects in the Midlands.

Set up:

• ASAP start
• 6-month initial contract (rolling)
• Outside IR35
• Site 4 days a week (1 wfh)

Sites are between Loughborough and Nottingham and you would need to commit site 4 days a week.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as Senior QS
• NEC cost reimbursable experience
• Heavy civils background
• Experience on water/utility projects highly desirable
