Job summary

An established engineering & manufacturing business is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their team in St Helens. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and embedding quality and safety management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001. Applicants should have strong QHSE management experience and a thorough understanding of UK health and safety regulations. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of £37,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in QHSE management within Manufacturing or Engineering.
• Proven ability to establish systems, policies, and procedures for new or scaling operations.
• Experience in environmental compliance and process safety.

Responsibilities

• Build and embed Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems.
• Lead compliance efforts while fostering a safety-first culture.
• Establish quality and safety systems ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.

Full Driving Licence
