Job summary

Hanson Quarry Products Europe Limited is seeking a Senior Quality Control Technician for the Sizewell C project. The role involves ensuring that materials meet high standards while fostering a strong safety culture and leading a team.

Candidates should have experience with quality control processes, a strong knowledge of Health & Safety standards, and excellent communication skills. This position offers a competitive salary and the chance to work on a significant national project.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete, asphalt, or aggregate testing.
• Strong understanding of BS EN / ASTM standards.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety compliance.
• Ability to analyse data and produce reports.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong Health & Safety culture.
• Conduct laboratory and on-site testing.
• Inspect incoming materials and report discrepancies.
• Supervise and mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain accurate test records and documentation.
• Collaborate with EDF contractors on projects.
