Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced QC Inspector in Dunfermline, Scotland. The successful candidate will ensure quality control standards are met in a fabrication environment, working closely with production and QA teams. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Quality Control / Inspection role.
  • Strong understanding of welding procedures, NDT, fabrication, and inspection documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and with external inspectors.

Responsibilities

  • Build effective working relationships with teams and inspectors.
  • Ensure QMS procedures are adhered to.
  • Monitor and review project Inspection & Test Plans.
  • Process NDT requests and ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct various inspections and maintain weld logs.
  • Support documentation and certification processes.
  • Participate in safety inspections and risk assessments.
