Job summary

Pioneer Selection is recruiting a QC Senior Analyst to lead laboratory operations and analytical testing in a modern manufacturing facility within a regulated environment. The role is based in St Albans and offers a salary of £32,000 per year, with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:00pm shift.

You will supervise daily laboratory activities, support junior staff, manage samples, perform and oversee testing of materials and products, and help ensure timely, compliant results while engaging with

• Previous experience as a QC Analyst within a manufacturing, production or packaging environment.
• Desirable: Experience working within a pharmaceutical or laboratory setting.

• Organise and manage daily laboratory activities and testing schedules.

• Manage samples from receipt to storage.
• Carry out and lead analytical testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment when issues arise.
• Ensure all testing is completed accurately and within required timescales.
• Review analytical data, results and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Support investigations into unusual or failed results, including OOS/OOT investigations and deviations.
• Manage stability studies and reference standards.
• Support continuous improvement projects within the QC laboratory.
• Work closely with wider teams and support site initiatives.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (40 hours per week)
