Overview
As a Senior QA Tester you will manage the testing of Digital and Technology Services during major change programmes and continuous improvement pipelines. Working across both Waterfall and Agile programmes you will ensure user functional and non‑functional requirements are delivered fully and on time, prioritise and report defects, and support programme management in tracking progress and risk.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all testing capabilities within a Major Change Programme or a Change Project, including planning, resource allocation and quality delivery.
- Define, manage and execute Test Strategies, Test Approaches and Test Methodologies for HSE, covering Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance, User, Performance, Security and Compatibility.
- Write and review test plans, test cases and test scripts to meet quality delivery requirements.
- Provide Management Information (MI and reporting) on testing progress and quality of Digital and Technology Services.
- Work with suppliers to ensure development of applications and systems meets HSE testing standards.
- Maintain high‑quality, customer‑focused service delivery and support user needs throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Submit an anonymised Personal Statement (up to 1000 words) demonstrating how you meet the essential skills and criteria of the role.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience leading a test team on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and web apps.
- Experience writing, maintaining and planning the execution of test suites.
- Experience line‑managing system testers.
- Ability to communicate and present test progress to diverse audiences.
- Experience creating, updating and storing test documentation.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience in both Waterfall and Agile testing environments.
