Job summary

Rebellion is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to lead maternity cover for the QA team across our Oxford, Warwick or Runcorn studios. Based onsite, you’ll write robust test plans, identify risks, and mentor the squad to ensure our games ship with quality for players.

You’ll collaborate with designers, developers and production, think systemically about how features interact, and help the team maintain sharp processes while delivering on time.

Responsibilities

• Write robust test plans for every feature - cover all paths, edge cases, and sneaky combos.
• Hunt down risks before they hit production - you know where things can break, and you find things and get them fixed before anyone notices.
• Think systemically - features don’t exist in a vacuum, you can visualize how everything interacts across the game and its systems.

For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.

We’re not just looking for testers, we’re looking for Senior QA Analysts - players who are also masters of game quality!

As a Senior QA Analyst, you don’t just click buttons, you see the whole map, anticipate every trap, and make sure the team ships games that run smoothly for every player.

What you’ll do:

Contract details:

This is a fixed-term contract position to provide maternity leave cover for the QA team. The end date for this contract will be August 2027. This is an onsite role which can be based at any of our Oxford, Warwick or Runcorn studios, each offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success.
