Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Risk Engineer to join our engineering team, focusing on commodities risk, market data pipelines, and production delivery. You will own problems from business requirements to deployment, with hands‑on coding and architectural design.

You will collaborate with risk, trading, and quant stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment, contributing to CI/CD releases and cloud‑native infrastructure. Strong Python and full‑stack skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of commodities markets, price risk, curves and market data flows.
• Experience building or maintaining systems that process market data at scale.
• Proficient Python programmer with clean, tested code and good habits.
• Full‑stack capabilities across backend, APIs and frontend as needed.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and modern infra practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain risk engineering systems across the full stack with a focus on commodities risk.
• Translate high‑level requirements into production‑ready solutions.
• Contribute to multiple daily releases in a CI/CD environment with testable code.
• Evolve cloud‑native platforms and deployment practices.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and risk managers to reflect market realities.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Address technical debt proactively.
