Admiral Money in Cardiff is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python) to contribute to our technical product teams and champion technical excellence. You will develop deep understanding of our products and their implementation, writing clean, testable code and participating in architecture discussions.

The role requires strong Python experience, AWS, and CI/CD with a proactive approach to quality, documentation, and Agile collaboration within Scrum teams.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and secure software development practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, idiomatic, and maintainable code aligned to business requirements.
• Ensure all work is covered by unit tests.
• Contribute to technical excellence through peer reviews and best practices.
• Maintain sufficient documentation for the team and projects.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Architects.
