Job summary

Intec Select is seeking a Senior Python Engineer / Back End Developer to join a fast-moving team in London. You will build Python microservices, data pipelines, and AI-enabled features, delivering scalable services with a pragmatic, ownership-driven approach.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product, data science, QA, and design, plus mentoring and staying current with AI and cloud tech in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive Python backend development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining microservices.
• Experience with AI/ML tooling or integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Python services, microservices, voice chat, and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Tech Lead on architecture, decisions, and design.
• Work with product, data science, QA, design, and SMEs to deliver features.
• Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and quality of applications.
• Contribute to code reviews, requirements, and user stories.
• Take ownership of issues and support an end-to-end DevOps approach.
• Mentor less experienced developers and share knowledge.
• Stay current with AI, cloud engineering, and language assessment.
