Job summary
Version 1 Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Python Developer with extensive trading domain experience to join our hybrid team. You will develop, maintain, and enhance trading applications using Python, working closely with traders and quants to gather requirements and deliver robust software.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in Python development within trading, familiarity with FIX protocol, market data and order management systems, and a strong track record of delivering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a Python Developer in the trading domain.
- Experience with trading systems, market data, and order management systems.
- Proficiency in Python programming and related frameworks/libraries.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data structures.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance trading applications using Python.
- Collaborate with traders, quants, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Optimize and troubleshoot trading algorithms and systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure code quality and stability.
