Job summary

Version 1 Solutions Limited in the UK is seeking a skilled Python Developer with extensive trading domain experience to join our dynamic team. You will develop, maintain and enhance trading applications and integrate FIX protocol into low-latency workflows.

You will collaborate with traders and quants, optimize algorithms for performance and reliability, participate in code reviews, testing and deployment, and contribute to a tech-first culture with hybrid working and travel as needed.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience as a Python developer in the trading domain.
Proficient with Python and related frameworks; familiar with trading systems.
Experience with FIX protocol and data management.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance trading applications using Python.
Collaborate with traders, quants, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Optimize and troubleshoot trading algorithms and systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure code quality and stability.
