Job summary

Version 1 Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Python Developer with trading domain experience to join our dynamic team. You will develop, maintain and enhance trading applications using Python, implementing FIX-based solutions and collaborating with traders and quants to deliver high-quality software.

The role requires 6+ years of Python experience in trading, strong knowledge of trading systems, and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases. Hybrid schedule with business travel is offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
Proven experience for 6+ years as a Python Developer in trading.
Experience with trading systems, market data, and OMS.
Proficiency in Python programming and related frameworks/libraries.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and data structures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance trading applications using Python.
Implement and support FIX protocol-based solutions for trading systems.
Collaborate with traders, quants and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver software.
Optimize and troubleshoot trading algorithms and systems for high performance.
Participate in code reviews, testing and deployment to ensure quality and stability.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies in trading.
