Job summary

Synergetic is seeking a Senior Python Developer (SC cleared) for a mostly remote role with occasional travel to London. You will design and build a modern multi-tier web application in Python on AWS, focusing on production quality, security, and maintainability.

You will work on REST APIs, authentication and authorization, and leverage AWS for deployment and scaling. Strong OO design, testing, and CI/CD practices are essential for delivering robust software.

• Extensive experience building production Python applications and services.
• Python web and Back End frameworks.
• REST API design, including authentication, authorisation and API security.
• Multi-tier architecture: Front End, Middleware, Back End and data stores.
• Building and deploying applications on AWS.
• Strong OO design, design patterns and automated unit and component testing.
• Git, CI/CD and code review.
• Front End or UI experience (a strong plus).

Contract: 6 months

Rate: Negotiable (Inside IR35)

Location: Mostly remote, occasional travel to London

Clearance: Active SC required

You'll design and build a modern multi-tier web application in Python on AWS. This is a software engineering role, not data science or analytics.

You'll bring:
