Experis - ManpowerGroup is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join a growing manufacturing business in Birmingham. The role is on site and pays £45,000–£55,000 with bonus and benefits.

You will develop, support and enhance business-critical applications, data platforms, integrations and automation solutions, while collaborating with stakeholders to shape the technology roadmap. This hands-on opportunity is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving complex challenges and delivering

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, React, TypeScript, SQL, FastAPI, BigQuery, MongoDB and GCP.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, cloud deployment and data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, testing and production support.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support internal applications, APIs, integrations and data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across web applications, databases and cloud platforms.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, CI/CD and release processes.
• Support the ongoing development of reporting, analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
