Our client is a well-known business locally and is looking for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team in Alfreton.

This is a permanent opportunity paying up to £33,000 (DOE).

The successful candidate will be joining a fantastic business and great team!

Our client can offer hybrid working (2 days working from home).

Description
Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities:
  • Ensure invoices and credit notes are processed accurately
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Ensure cash payments are allocated correctly
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier management
  • Ensure timely processes of supplier payments
  • Resolving queries
  • Responsible for multi-site ledger
  • Treasury duties when required
  • Adhoc duties that may be required
Profile

The successful Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk:

  • Experience in a Purchase Ledger Clerk position
  • Treasury experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Purchase Ledger processes, accounting, and finance systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Brilliant attention to detail
  • Multisite experience
  • Able to commute to our client's office in Alfreton (3 days per week)
