Job summary

Job description
Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP)

Contract: Permanent, Full‑time 37.5 hours per week.

Haringey Talking Therapies service is a thriving, dynamic service committed to excellence in its delivery of psychological interventions in Haringey’s multi‑cultural, multi‑lingual community. It offers great opportunities for training, career development and the chance to share ideas and initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver weekly case‑management supervision to a team of PWPs.
  • Provide clinical skills training to trainee PWPs.
  • Work on service developments as needed.
  • Conduct clinical work with an adjusted caseload.
  • Collaborate with the Outreach Lead to deliver workshops, liaise with and engage community groups and services.
  • Offer screening supervision after first triage.
  • Work within a large established team of CBT therapists, PWPs and counsellors.
  • Perform one late shift per week (12 – 8 pm).
  • Offer hybrid work arrangement (two days onsite, three days from home).
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Post‑Graduate Certificate in Evidence‑based Low Intensity Psychological Treatments (NHS approved).
  • Minimum of one year post‑qualification PWP experience.
  • PWP supervisor training (desirable).
  • Post‑graduate degree level education.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to present to small and large audiences.
  • Experience delivering workshops and public speaking.
  • Experience working with people with common mental health problems.
  • Experience in a multicultural setting (desirable).
About the Team

Role is part of a team of clinicians under the leadership of the Haringey Talking Therapies Senior Management Team. It includes Step 2 case management, clinical skills workshops, screening supervision and involvement in service development.
