Qualifications

• Experience in mental health services required for delivering quality care.
• Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and related codes.
• Commitment to continued professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead high quality care to service users at Cygnet Newton House.
• Take overall responsibility for patient treatment plans.
• Conduct ward rounds and clinical audits.

Skills

Fully GMC registered

MBBS (or equivalent)

Knowledgeable of the Mental Health Act

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team

Education

MBBS or equivalent

Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych)
