Job summary

Avove Limited seeks a Proposals Manager to lead the bid function within the Severn Trent Water framework. You will oversee the full bid lifecycle from pipeline to submission, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality responses and drive best practice.

You will manage governance, ensure timely submissions, analyse tender data, and prepare senior leadership presentations. A strong background in bid management within utilities or construction is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Bid team or similar function.
• Experience in a Bid team (writing or coordination) with strong Excel skills.
• Proven project management capability and organisational skills.
• Understanding of utilities, civils or construction sectors beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Governance documentation aligned with internal standards.
• Manage timely bid submissions per programme.
• Analyze tender data to support decisions.
• Oversee account pipeline with accurate tracking and progression.
• Prepare director-level sign-off packs and presentations.
• Gather information to produce clear, insightful reports.
• Lead tender meetings and foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify market gaps and growth opportunities.
• Ensure proposal content aligns with client requirements and bid strategy.
• Support KPIs reporting and client performance updates.
