Network Rail in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced professional to lead workplace strategy and estate optimisation within its expansive property portfolio, delivering high-performing services that support value across routes, corporate functions, and regions.

You will work in a complex stakeholder environment, providing trusted advice on land, buildings and workplace assets to inform strategic decisions and maximise value.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Estate Management, Real Estate, Property, Surveying or equivalent.
• MRICS qualified.
• Wide range of General Practice surveying experience.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Proven negotiation skills at senior level.
• Proven experience of managing complex property transactions.
• Experience of stakeholder management.
• Strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Workplace Strategy & Estate Optimisation: Develop strategies that improve utilisation and deliver a sustainable, integrated estate.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with routes, functions, regions and external partners to shape workplace solutions.
• Insight, Reporting & Governance: Provide robust analysis and reporting to inform estate decisions and value for money.
• Portfolio Performance: Identify opportunities to optimise the workplace portfolio and reduce costs.
• Professional Property Advice: Offer expert guidance on workplace and estate matters for strategic decisions.
• Leadership & Influence: Build relationships and promote best practices across the organisation.
