Portfolio Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Property Manager to work as part of a team in the management of large and complex development in East London, portfolio of around 1,400 units across neighbouring developments. Supported by a full estate team, you’ll manage high‑rise and high‑risk buildings, handle complex service charge budgets, ensure compliance, and engage confidently with residents and stakeholders to deliver a high standard of service.

You’ll need to visit the site at least once every two weeks, with the flexibility to work remotely for the rest of the week.

The Team

You will work alongside other property professionals and report into a Team Manager. The wider team meets on a regular basis to share industry knowledge and offer each other an opportunity for shared learning and development.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Lead by example whilst adopting the Rendall and Rittner policies, procedures and values
  • Ensure adherence to lease agreements by all parties, managing lease extensions and variations.
  • Oversee the calculation, collection, and allocation of service charges, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
  • Coordinate routine and emergency repairs, manage contractors, and ensure high standards of property upkeep.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to ensure properties meet all health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, provide financial reporting, and oversee reserve funds for long-term maintenance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for leaseholders, addressing their queries, concerns, and disputes.
  • Organise and lead annual general meetings, presenting financial and operational updates to leaseholders.
  • Stay current with property‑related laws and ensure compliance.
  • Handle and mediate disputes, with a focus on resolution.
  • Oversee projects, including managing Section 20 consultations and ensuring projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Provide excellent customer service and effective communication, ensuring leaseholders receive timely, clear, and helpful information.
