Career Legal is recruiting a Property Lawyer with 4-10 years’ PQE to join its Managed Legal Services (MLS) team in a hybrid role across Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds. You’ll handle a broad range of commercial property matters and develop long-term client relationships.

You will work on asset management and real estate finance, draft and negotiate, and contribute to innovative ways of delivering legal services while mentoring junior colleagues.

Formación

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 4-10 years' PQE.
• Experience in commercial property, ideally asset management or real estate finance.
• Comfortable across a large property portfolio or complex client account.
• Confident in drafting and negotiating.
• Commercially minded with strong client/stakeholder management.
• Able to own work and work autonomously.
• Interested in legal technology and alternative service delivery.
• Experience in commercial acquisitions or plot sales is a plus.

I'm working with a leading legal services business that is looking to hire a Property Lawyer at 4-10 PQE to join its growing Managed Legal Services (MLS) team.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded property lawyer who wants to move away from the traditional law firm model and get more involved in long-term client relationships, high-quality legal work and innovative ways of delivering legal services.

You'll work closely with major clients on a broad range of commercial property matters, particularly around property asset management and real estate finance, acting as a trusted adviser and taking ownership of your own work.

You'll be involved in:

• Advising clients and working closely with their legal, estates and operational teams
• Drafting, negotiating and managing a broad range of commercial property matters, including leases, licences, variations, surrenders, extensions and consents
• Advising on real estate finance matters, including certificates of title, charges, searches, officer's certificates and legal opinions
• Managing matters from start to finish and providing commercially focused, practical advice
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
• Working collaboratively with lawyers and colleagues across the wider business
• Supporting process improvement and new technology-led ways of working
• Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the team

You'll ideally be:

• A qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 4-10 years' PQE
• Experienced in commercial property, ideally with a strong asset management background or real estate finance
• Comfortable working across a large property portfolio or complex client account
• A confident drafter and negotiator
• Commercially minded, with strong client and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable taking ownership of your work and working autonomously
• Interested in legal technology and alternative ways of delivering legal services
• Experience of commercial acquisitions or plot sales would be advantageous but isn't essential.

There's also a strong focus on technology, innovation, development and progression, within a collaborative national team.
