Senior Project Quantity Surveyor – Industrial Project (£35M Amazon Build) | Northampton | £70,000 + Package | Project Start: Mid-November 2025

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility for a £35M industrial project in Northampton — a flagship Amazon development set to break ground in mid-November 2025. This is a project-based role suited for a highly competent, self-sufficient QS who can run a large-scale industrial scheme independently from pre-construction through to final account.

Responsibilities
  • Take full commercial ownership of the project on-site
  • Oversee procurement, contract administration, and cost management
  • Report directly to the Commercial Director or Senior Leadership team
  • Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and the client
  • Manage valuations, variations, and monthly CVRs
  • Ensure financial targets and deadlines are achieved
Requirements
  • Proven track record delivering industrial or logistics projects £30M+ in value
  • Ability to operate as the standalone QS on a project
  • Strong understanding of JCT contracts
  • Excellent cost reporting and commercial acumen
  • Ideally degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
