Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Warrington is seeking a Senior Project Planner to manage planning for a portfolio of energy and natural resources projects, including nuclear client work. The role requires strong Primavera P6 skills and the ability to lead a small team and coordinate with other disciplines.

You will develop robust schedules, track progress against time, cost, and risk, and ensure delivery to target standards.

Qualifications

• You have professional Project Controls experience specialising in Planning & Scheduling.
• Experience with nuclear projects is desirable but not essential.
• You can coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and manage risk and change.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning on multiple projects or large programmes with complex schedules.
• Create, develop and maintain schedules aligned to project requirements.
• Ensure adherence to NEC or FIDIC contract processes for schedule data.
• Prepare status reports to inform management of progress.
• Contribute to Integrated Project Controls standards and processes.
• Mentor and coach planning staff within the team.
• Monitor progress, validate critical paths and suggest recovery actions.
• Consolidate multiple project schedules into an IMS.
