Job summary

United Infrastructure Group is seeking a Senior Project Planner to join its engineering services team. You will develop and maintain detailed, resource-loaded schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Projects across the full project lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.

You will conduct rigorous critical path analysis, monitor progress, and report variances. Collaboration with engineering, procurement and commercial teams will be essential to forecast resources and present

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a dedicated project planning role with Primavera P6 and MS Projects.
• Professional qualifications such as APM PMP or Primavera P6 certification are advantageous.
• Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or related technical field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Projects across the full project lifecycle.
• Conduct rigorous critical path analysis to identify schedule risks, dependencies and constraints.
• Monitor project progress daily/weekly, track task completion, and report variances against the baseline schedule.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, commercial and project management teams to gather progress data and integrate all elements into the master schedule.
• Prepare and present regular project performance reports, including Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics, to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage and forecast resource requirements, ensuring effective resource allocation and levelling within Primavera P6.
• Develop 'what-if' scenarios and recovery schedules to mitigate delays and provide proactive solutions.
• Implement and maintain the project controls system in line with company standards and client requirements.
