Job summary

Infraspec in London is seeking a Senior Project Planner to own complex programmes across infrastructure and capital projects. You will lead planning activities, liaise with Project Managers, Commercial teams, Contractors and senior stakeholders, and drive performance using Primavera P6 to keep delivery on track.

This role offers hybrid working in London, exposure to high-profile UK programmes, and clear career progression within a consultancy focused on quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering major infrastructure or capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing detailed programmes using Primavera P6.
• Taking ownership of programme performance, milestones and critical paths.
• Analysing progress and identifying delays, trends and opportunities.
• Providing clear programme insight and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Supporting change management, schedule assurance and governance.
• Contributing to planning strategy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Working with commercial and delivery teams to maintain performance.

Looking for a role where your planning expertise actually makes an impact?

I'm currently working with a specialist consultancy that's growing its planning team and looking to speak with an experienced Senior Project Planner.

The role offers the opportunity to work across major infrastructure and capital investment programmes, supporting clients and project teams through complex delivery challenges and helping turn ambitious programmes into achievable plans.

You'll have real ownership of your programmes, working closely with Project Managers, Commercial teams, Contractors and senior stakeholders to understand performance, challenge progress and keep delivery on track.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Developing and managing detailed programmes using Primavera P6
• Taking ownership of programme performance, milestones and critical paths
• Analysing progress and identifying emerging delays, trends and opportunities
• Providing clear programme insight and reporting to senior stakeholders
• Supporting change management, schedule assurance and programme governance
• Contributing to planning strategy throughout the project lifecycle
• Working closely with commercial and delivery teams to maintain programme performance
• Using planning data to support informed project decisions

We're looking for someone with:

• Strong experience as a Project Planner / Senior Project Planner
• A background in major infrastructure, construction, engineering or capital projects
• Good knowledge of NEC contracts and programme management
• Experience with Time Impact Analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The confidence to work independently and challenge when required
