Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Project Planner to drive scheduling and planning activities across ongoing projects. You will identify schedule risks, engage stakeholders and support performance measurement with dashboards.

You will maintain forecasts, progress monitoring in PowerBI and Primavera P6, and prepare narratives and status reports, along with planned-versus-as-built analyses and lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Expert with Primavera P6 planning software.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (BSc.), e.g., Industrial Engineering, Maritime/Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of planning experience.
• Strong Excel skills across MS Office (Power Pivot/PowerBI advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify schedule risks and opportunities and engage with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintaining and developing progress monitoring, forecasting and dashboards in both PowerBI and Primavera P6 to support project performance measurements and to engage stakeholders.
• Preparing planning related reports such as narratives and status reports Preparing reporting's to substantiate claims Preparing planned versus as-built, hindcasting and lessons learnt

Requirements

• Expert with planning software Primavera P6
• Minimum a bachelor's degree in a technical direction (BSc.), preferably Industrial Engineering, Maritime Technology, Civil Engineering, or qualified by experience
• Minimum 5 years of planning experience
• Skills in all Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
• Affinity with Power Pivot and PowerBI are advantageous.
