Opportunity Sheffield, the Employment & Skills Service within Sheffield City Council, is seeking to appoint a Senior Project Officer / Training Coordinator to facilitate, source, coordinate, and manage training support provision across its employment and skills programmes.
The Training Coordinator will support the delivery of Opportunity Sheffield’s core aims: helping local people into employment, apprenticeships, and training; supporting individuals to overcome barriers to work and progression; and providing in-work support to Sheffield residents looking to upskill, progress, or change career.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and forward-thinking individual with experience in employment support and training provision. The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of externally funded programmes and will be responsible for contract management of selected Opportunity Sheffield training contracts.
