Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water utility projects across the UK within long-term frameworks. Based in one of our offices, you’ll work on wastewater and potable water schemes, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and aligning with project delivery systems.

• A degree in engineering (civil, mechanical or electrical) or equivalent.
• Experience delivering water or wastewater treatment projects.
• Strong commercial, risk management and contractual skills (e.g., NEC4).
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartered/APM registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead on multiple small to medium water utility projects, wastewater and potable water schemes.
• Provide input on delivery procedures and align with PM requirements and PDS.

In this role, you'll take the lead on various aspects of multiple small to medium sized water utility projects, covering both wastewater and potable water schemes, primarily within key client long-term frameworks. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a talented, diverse team dedicated to efficiency and forward-thinking solutions.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Provide input/support on continuous improvement to, and execution of, project delivery procedures.
• Drive consistent Project Manager (PM) practices and procedures in alignment with AECOM PM requirements and the Project Delivery System (PDS).
• Oversee the work of one or more Project Managers and provide support as required into any of the Project Managers tasks noted above.
• Depending on region and project requirements you may also project manage more complex projects of your own, in addition to the above.

• Experience in delivering water or wastewater treatment projects.
