Lead multi-functional Leonardo teams to deliver project objectives to agreed scope, quality, schedule and budget. Identify and manage dependencies with other VCM projects, business initiatives and enterprise transformation programmes. Anticipate and manage project risks, issues and changes, implementing mitigation strategies where appropriate and ensuring the VCM Programme Manager and key stakeholders are informed of project status and recovery actions. Identify key milestones and track progress against agreed deliverables, ensuring timely delivery of project outcomes. Through regular engagement with stakeholders and key users, ensure delivered solutions meet approved business requirements and objectives. Work with the Change Lead to support the development and execution of business readiness, communications, training and adoption activities required to realise business case benefits. Ensure full adherence to Leonardo’s Lifecycle Management framework, owning required artefacts, stage‑gate approvals and presenting project status at governance and gateway reviews.
Experience delivering digital transformation projects from implementation through to successful business adoption. Experience delivering business improvement initiatives, including the management of external implementation partners and suppliers. Able to engage with and influence a wide range of stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. Knowledge of change management principles and experience delivering projects that achieve successful business adoption and sustained benefits. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate options and maximise business value. Experience managing third‑party implementation partners and technology delivery vendors. Strong financial management, governance, risk and benefits realisation experience. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
