Job summary

Advance TRS in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong rail background to deliver engineering excellence across a portfolio of works in Scotland. You will lead projects with a civils bias, ensuring the engineering element tracks against plans, coordinating resources, and providing on-site coverage.

Proactive in reviews and design support, you will report into the delivery team and drive safe, compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Rail engineering background required.
• Rail experience ideally civils.
• Current or past project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure engineering element aligns with works plans.
• Organise resources of people and materials to deliver works.
• Provide round-the-clock site coverage with the team.
• Assist with engineering design and plans as required.

I am looking for a senior project manager with a good rail background, to deliver engineering technical excellence on a portfolio of works in Scotland

Role

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within programmes from a civils bias. This role would suit a Senior Project manager with rail experience in heavy civil works.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the engineering element of the works goes according with works plans.
• Organise resources of people and materials to ensure delivery of works.
• Work in a team for round the clock coverage of job sites.
• Assist with engineering design and plans as required
• Attend engineering reviews as required for allocated contracts.

Essential requirements

• Rail engineering background
• Rail experience ideally civils
• Will need to have current or past project management experience

Desirable

• Ideally having worked on delivery sided roles
