Job summary

BOSS ERP Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 F&O implementations and transformation programmes across Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce, Manufacturing and Operations. You will drive governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery excellence to ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget outcomes.

The role requires strategic, process-led planning, strong leadership, and hands-on delivery across multiple streams, with experience in Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing Dynamics 365 F&O or enterprise ERP implementations.
• Strong understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce, Manufacturing, and Operations processes.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale transformation programmes using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong project management capability across scope, budget, risk, stakeholders, and resources.
• Experience managing full project lifecycles from initiation through hypercare.
• Strong stakeholder management, governance, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) implementation projects from initiation through go-live and hypercare.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, RAID logs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams including Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce, Manufacturing, and Operations.
• Drive governance, decision-making, and business process alignment across enterprise transformation programmes.
• Manage delivery phases including discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and support.
• Monitor project risks, budgets, timelines, and resource forecasting.
• Build and manage relationships with executive sponsors and client stakeholders.
• Lead steering committees, governance meetings, and status reviews.
• Manage escalations, delivery risks, and resource allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes and methodologies.
• Provide regular project updates, dashboards, and executive reports.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) implementation and transformation projects. This role requires a strategic, process-led approach to planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while

maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

The Senior Project Manager will champion implementation methodology and drive business value through enterprise-scale Finance & Operations transformation programmes across Finance, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Manufacturing, and Operations functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Leadership

• Lead multiple Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) implementation projects from initiation through go-live and hypercare.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, RAID logs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams including Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce, Manufacturing, and Operations.
• Drive governance, decision-making, and business process alignment across enterprise transformation programmes.

Methodology & Delivery Governance

• Manage delivery phases including discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and support.
• Ensure requirements traceability, quality reviews, and stage-gate approvals.
• Maintain delivery documentation and reporting within Azure DevOps and SharePoint.
• Monitor project risks, budgets, timelines, and resource forecasting.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Build and manage relationships with executive sponsors and client stakeholders.
• Lead steering committees, governance meetings, and status reviews.
• Manage escalations, delivery risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate and mentor cross-functional teams including consultants, architects, developers, testers, and third-party vendors.
• Ensure projects follow implementation standards and best practices.
• Track project financials including budgets, utilisation, margins, and forecasts.
• Manage change requests, delivery risks, and resource allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes and methodologies.

Reporting & Communication

• Provide regular project updates, dashboards, and executive reports.
• Escalate significant risks, scope changes, and delivery concerns appropriately.
• Maintain clear, proactive, and professional communication throughout delivery.

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years' experience managing Dynamics 365 F&O or enterprise ERP implementations.
• Strong understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce, Manufacturing, and Operations processes.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale transformation programmes using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong project management capability across scope, budget, risk, stakeholders, and resources.
• Experience managing full project lifecycles from initiation through hypercare.
• Strong stakeholder management, governance, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, organisational, and analytical skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in consultancy or professional services environments.
• Knowledge of integrations, data migration, release management, and organisational change management.
