About You

• Degree in a relevant discipline and professional membership (RICS, CIOB, APM or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in the buildings sector, with a focus on large-scale residential projects.
• Strong JCT contract administration expertise and a proven track record managing complex, high-value schemes (NEC experience preferable but not essential).
• Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, balancing client needs and project priorities.
• Digital-first mindset with proficiency in project management software.

You’ll thrive in a client-facing consultancy role, bringing a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to every project. Based in Manchester, you’ll also travel to project sites as required.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll :

• Lead all project phases — from inception to completion — with a focus on large-scale residential schemes.
• Oversee feasibility studies and budgets — ensuring capital schemes are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
• Ensure compliance — navigating legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Engage stakeholders — managing user group requirements and translating them into clear project briefs.
• Coordinate consultants and teams — ensuring seamless collaboration and project execution.
• Develop project execution plans and critical path programs — keeping everything on track.
• Manage procurement, contracts, and change control processes — mitigating risks and driving efficiency.
• Deliver high-level progress reports — keeping senior stakeholders informed.
• Support business case development for significant capital investments.
