Qualifications

  • SMSTS, IOSH, or NEBOSH certification.

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale office furniture installation projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Project Manager who combines exceptional project delivery skills with strong client-facing abilities and a proven track record of securing and delivering major office furniture installation projects.

Role Overview

This role combines high-level project management with front-end client engagement, business development support, and tender participation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial client consultation through to final handover, ensuring installations are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They will act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams while also contributing to tender interviews and securing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead and manage multiple office furniture installation projects simultaneously.
  • Oversee all project phases from pre-contract planning through installation and final handover.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project programmes and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate internal teams, installation crews, subcontractors, logistics providers, and suppliers.

  • Address and resolve client concerns effectively and professionally.

Tender & Business Development Support

  • Support the preparation of tender submissions, project methodologies, and delivery plans.
  • Attend and lead tender interviews and presentations.
  • Demonstrate project delivery capability and company expertise to prospective clients.
  • Contribute to winning new business opportunities through professional client engagement.
  • Provide operational input during bid and pre-construction stages.
  • Ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Coordinate site logistics, access requirements, delivery schedules, and resource planning.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality audits.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Manage snagging, defects, and project close-out activities.

Commercial Management

  • Monitor project financial performance and forecast project outcomes.
  • Manage project change control and contract variations.
  • Review supplier and subcontractor performance.
  • Assist with procurement and resource allocation decisions.
  • Minimum 5 years’ project management experience within the office furniture, interiors, fit-out, or workplace solutions sector.
