Overview

This job is part of Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with operations in real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources. We are looking for Senior Project Managers to support our clients and deliver a wide range of high-profile projects across infrastructure. You will help mentor and develop the future generation of Project Managers and be based in our London office, with time spent with colleagues and client teams across the South-East region.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage infrastructure projects and/or programmes across the project lifecycle, including project management principles, delivering to client objectives, contract management, leadership and teamwork, financial management and project controls, and health, safety, quality and environmental management.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, capable of developing teams and guiding others in challenging environments or ambiguity.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partner organisations as a trusted adviser.
  • Apply strong problem solving, analytical and numerical skills to understand complex problems and shape workable delivery solutions.
  • Drive solutions under pressure and motivate others to achieve outcomes.
  • Plan, communicate and organise effectively, managing several work streams and engaging with senior client representatives.
  • Lead, manage and develop project teams on large projects or programmes.
  • Apply a creative, curious and growth-minded approach to delivery.
Beneficial Experience
  • Experience of procurement and managing NEC contracts.
  • Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on infrastructure projects.
  • Experience of consultancy or client-side project management.
  • Familiarity with public sector organisations, non-departmental or arm's length bodies relevant to infrastructure.
Qualifications
  • Degree or HND in a management, construction or infrastructure-related subject, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional affiliation or near-qualified status with the APM, ICE, ITP, or similar institution.
  • Project management certification (APM/PRINCE2/MSP) and NEC PM Accreditations or qualifications.
