Job summary

Modine’s Airedale by Modine brand seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end HVAC/BMS project delivery for critical data centre environments from Leeds. You will guide a skilled team, shape standard practices, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and on budget.

This role requires leadership, strong communication, and ability to drive process improvements. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, handle invoicing and forecasting, and mentor

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in HVAC or BMS.
• HNC/HND or degree in an engineering discipline.
• Health & Safety Management, strong understanding of CDM regulations.
• CSCS card and SMSTS.
• Strong commercial knowledge, P&L experience, cost control, experience with subcontract agreements.
• Ability to lead, set standards and drive process.
• Attention to detail and QA/QC processes.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels internally and externally with customers and suppliers.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Strong organisational skills, able to meet deadlines and prioritise.
• Willingness to travel, potentially for Europe-based projects.
• Experience of working within Data Centres

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple Airedale projects, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and safely.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project delivery processes.
• Assist with sales forecasting, invoicing, and payment applications.
• Mentor junior team members and promote high potential staff.
• Drive continuous improvement and robust QA/QC across projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate all elements of project delivery from sales handover to site handover.
• Chair project meetings and liaise with customers on specifications and issues.
• Manage sub-contractors, health & safety, CDM, and progress reporting.
