Role Overview

You’ll be accountable for:

  • Managing risks related to cost, schedule, and quality throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and client satisfaction
  • Overseeing the day-to-day execution of projects, including financial metrics, planning, scheduling, and staffing
  • Coordinating technical requirements relating to grid and substation projects
  • Obtaining new/repeat business and supporting contract negotiations
Management Responsibilities

Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience in grid and/or substation projects within the UK and wider EMEA region
  • Proven background or managing and leading teams of multi‑discipline professionals
  • Experienced in coordinating the activities of all third‑party companies contributing to the project delivery
  • PMP certification
  • Experience working with similar engineering consultancies
  • Experience in data centre design, EV charging infrastructure, BESS projects

Location & Travel

As Senior Project Manager – Grid you'll focus on grid services within EMEA, leading all aspects of medium to large projects with multiple clients, managing and leading teams of multi‑discipline professionals and coordinating the activities of all third‑party companies contributing to the project delivery. This role can be based at our offices in London (preferred) or Glasgow city centres in the United Kingdom. We work hybrid, 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home. Some travel throughout the EMEA region to project/client sites and BV offices will be required.
