Position Summary

Support the rollout of projects including (but not restricted to) payment systems and PEP (Property Management System) for EMEA from a finance perspective. Educate and support properties throughout the implementation journey, whilst working closely with partners (internal and external) to improve processes.

What will I be doing?
  • Engage, manage & support hotel finance and operations teams as new initiatives are rolled out including payment and PEP
    • Help to define more structured processes for roll‑out with coordination of other involved teams
    • Work equally with both managed and franchised properties for some projects and managed properties only for others – depending on initiative scope
    • Assist with change‑management from a financial and operational perspective as a result of system changes
    • Any ad hoc support for system implementations across EMEA hotels
  • Create and update user guides and process documentation for hotels teams to assist them with various finance tasks (e.g., reconciliations)
    • Develop training guides and webinars on payment terminal usage and onboarding (as needed)
  • Manage & govern financial aspects for payments at a corporate level with payment partners to ensure risks are appropriately managed (i.e., deposits, risk thresholds, etc.)
  • Work closely with payment partners to consistently improve reporting and processes, in order to satisfy Hilton’s operational needs
    • Oversee payment processing operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
    • Monitor Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) metrics and optimize performance
    • Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to improve payment system integrations and migrations
    • Work with vendors and stakeholders to optimize payment infrastructure
  • Take ownership of administration on payment provider’s platform for new merchant accounts
  • Actively participate and work on enhancements, including suggestions, design and validation
    • Analyse data to identify trends and drive strategic improvements
    • Support the development of system enhancements
    • Drive innovation in technology to improve user experience
    • Collaborate with the different teams including on security enhancements
  • Support localization efforts and readiness for deployment
  • Work on branding and documentation to improve system communication

Qualifications
  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree or experience in‑lieu thereof
  • Qualified accountant with Senior Manager level experience
  • Understanding of hotel operations, including front office, reservations and finance processes
  • Project management experience
