Job summary

McAllister, A Vortex Company, based in Wimborne, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead drainage rehabilitation projects from planning through to completion. You will oversee construction activities, manage budgets, and ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are met across multiple sites.

The role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and ability to proactively manage risks and project performance within trenchless technology.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in large-scale project delivery within drainage, utilities, civil engineering, or trenchless technology sectors
• Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors
• Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and operational compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of drainage rehabilitation projects using CIPP/CIPR technologies.
• Develop detailed project programmes and delivery plans.
• Define scope, resources, sequencing and operational strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimise productivity.
• Maintain client and stakeholder relationships and manage communications.
