Job summary

Babcock invites applications for a Senior Project Manager to lead major infrastructure and engineering packages within the 10 Dock Programme. The role focuses on procurement, manufacture, and delivery of complex offsite work, coordinating contractors and suppliers across the UK and Europe, and ensuring high standards of safety and governance.

You will influence critical outcomes, drive innovation in delivery, and contribute to national defence infrastructure while developing leadership

Qualifications

• Experience operating at a senior level on major projects or in highly regulated environments.
• Proven track record in procurement and tender processes for large contracts/subcontracts.
• Experience managing subcontractors, including programme and commercial performance.
• Knowledge of construction techniques and industry best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, manufacture, and delivery of major offsite manufacturing packages.
• Manage contractors and suppliers to meet programme, commercial, quality, and safety objectives.
• Coordinate design completion, contractor mobilisation, delivery, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Drive risk management, stakeholder engagement, and project governance throughout delivery phases.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve programme outcomes.
