Job summary

Specialist Data Centre Contractor in Germany is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of specialist lightning protection, earthing and surge protection systems on a major data centre project. You will report to the Regional Manager and manage programme, budgets, resources and subcontractors from mobilisation through to handover.

The role requires 4+ years of PM experience in electrical or construction, with strong contractual and client-management skills.

The Company

This specialist contractor delivers lightning protection, earthing and surge protection systems across major data centre, pharmaceutical and technically complex projects throughout Europe. They have a strong European operation and are looking for a Senior Project Manager to take responsibility for their specialist scope on a major data centre development in Germany.

The Role: Senior Project Manager

As Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the delivery of specialist lightning protection, earthing and surge protection systems on a major data centre project in Germany. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will manage programme, budgets, resources, subcontractors and client relationships from mobilisation through to final handover.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have 4+ years’ project management experience within the electrical or construction industry.
• Proven experience managing projects from commencement through to handover.
• Strong experience managing programme, budgets, resources and subcontractors.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Data centre or mission-critical construction experience preferred.
• Lightning protection, earthing or surge protection experience highly desirable.
• Previous European project experience beneficial.
• German language skills advantageous but not required.

About You

You should be confident managing clients, subcontractors and project teams while keeping works on programme and within budget.
